Chery Cole has been beaten Kate Moss, SJP and even Michelle Obama to be crowned Style Icon of the Decade.

The gorgeous Girls Aloud singer also snapped up the prize for best dressed woman of the year in a survey by The Style Network in the same week that she topped Glamour mag’s Best Dressed list! Phew. There’s nothing not to like about glossy, geordie girl Cheryl, and we’re loving her new found clothes confidence.

True she wears some cracking outfits, and she’s skinny enough to look good in a plastic bag, but when your wardrobe has been hand picked by a professional, there’s little chance of things going wrong.

You’ll often see Chez’s bandmates sporting high street buys and laden down with bags of shopping. But not Mrs Ashley Cole .. according to fashion insiders she’s the only one of the 5some that doesn’t ‘do shopping’ any more .. she’s obviously far too busy brushing her hair and applying lip gloss.
